The SIATA V360 is a high-performance, side-mounted 3″ valve specifically designed for industrial applications, capable of installation on tanks up to 48″ in diameter. Equipped with a special high-flow piston, this valve ensures exceptional performance during regeneration, especially in the backwash position. The V360 is built with reinforced square flanges featuring aluminium alloy rings, offering superior resistance for high-pressure installations.
This valve operates within a pressure range of 1.5 to 6 bar and withstands a hydrostatic pressure of up to 22 bar. It functions efficiently at temperatures between 1°C and 40°C, with an operational flow rate ranging from 35 to 40 m³/h, a backwash service flow rate of 16 m³/h, and a concurrent service flow rate of 26 m³/h. Constructed from ABS Novadur, the V360 can regenerate up to 1500 liters of resin. It is compatible with tank connections measuring 63, 75, or 90 mm, and gas connections of 2″, 2½”, or 3″.
The valve is designed for quick pilot-valve connections, facilitating rapid installation and easy maintenance. Its solid ABS body provides a robust structure, and the threaded PVC drain DN32 eliminates the need for gluing pipes to the valve drain, making it suitable for installations up to 48″.
The V360 is reinforced with fiberglass for added strength and durability. Performance-wise, it delivers a continuous flow of 32 m³/h at a pressure drop of 1 bar and can handle a peak flow of 42 m³/h at a pressure drop of 1.9 bar. Its Cv rating is 36.8, indicating the flow rate for the valve alone in GPM with a pressure drop of 0.07 bar. The maximum backwash flow rate is 15 m³/h, and the maximum fast rinse flow rate is 18 m³/h, both at a pressure drop of 1.9 bar.
The SIATA V360MDA is recommended for water softeners with tanks ranging from 24″ to 48″ and a maximum of 1200 liters of resin. It is also suitable for filters and demineralization applications within the same tank size range and resin capacity. Additionally, the valve supports counter-current regeneration and duplex systems, with an available flow control on the external discharge of 1¼”.
