GF Pressure Valves Type 582 and Type 586
Category: Pressure Relief Valves
The Type 582 Pressure Reducing Valve and Type 586 Pressure Retaining Valve from GF Piping Systems are designed for precise pressure regulation in various applications. These compact valves feature a reengineered design to meet customer needs for space efficiency without compromising performance.
- Pressure Reducing Valve (Type 582): This valve ensures constant outlet pressure by adjusting to fluctuations in system pressure, protecting devices from excessive pressure. Available in materials like PVC-U, PVC-C, PP-H, and PVDF, the valve is ideal for high-purity systems with an elastomer-free piston design. It can be used in water distribution, chemical processes, and more, with a pressure setting range of 0.5 to 9 bar (7-130 psi).
- Pressure Retaining Valve (Type 586): Designed to maintain constant inlet pressure or generate counterpressure, this valve is often used in systems with feed pumps to smooth pressure pulsations and reduce peaks. Its robust design supports energy-efficient operations, with materials and specifications similar to the 582 valve.
Both valves are modular, with easy-to-maintain replaceable cartridges and available with or without manometers. These valves are corrosion-free, easy to install, and suited for high-purity and chemically aggressive environments. Their applications range from water treatment and agriculture to the chemical industry and microelectronics.
